Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Contracts Counsel located in Gurugram. The Contracts Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of contracts and related matters. There will be limited oversight over some litigation mandates as well. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring compliance with applicable laws, providing legal advice on contract terms, and supporting various departments with contract-related inquiries. The role also involves conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with changes in law. Retainer amount is higher than market.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements
• Strong understanding of contract law and compliance
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; Master's degree in Law (LLM) is a plus
• Experience in a corporate legal environment or legal firm
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
