Role Description This is a full-time role for a Contracts Counsel located in Gurugram. The Contracts Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of contracts and related matters. There will be limited oversight over some litigation mandates as well. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring compliance with applicable laws, providing legal advice on contract terms, and supporting various departments with contract-related inquiries. The role also involves conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with changes in law. Retainer amount is higher than market. Qualifications Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements Strong understanding of contract law and compliance Excellent legal research and analytical skills Effective communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and in a team setting Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; Master's degree in Law (LLM) is a plus Experience in a corporate legal environment or legal firm Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
