Location: New Delhi

Reports to: Senior Bid Leaders

Key responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring that the bid responses comply with legal, regulatory and organisational policies – through their deep understanding of procurement processes in public sector.

• Contract review and analysis

• Review the RFP requirements and ensure that the internal stakeholders have a clear understanding of the legal, regulatory and procurement framework requirements governing the bid/ RFP
• Identify areas of concern or ambiguity in RFP/ bid document and proactively seek clarification
• Collaborate with legal advisors to address complex requirements and interpretation challenges in the bids
• Stay up-to-date with the legal and regulatory requirements and frameworks that have or may potentially have an impact in future on the organization’s responses/ solution

• Compliance and risk management/ bid support

• Conduct a risk assessment of the bids and proposed responses identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans
• Ensure that the bid responses consistent with legal, regulatory and organizational policies – meeting every RFP requirement and policy framework of the client in letter and spirit

Qualification and experience:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in managing bids/ contracts in public sector, with deep understanding of public sector procurement processes in key geographies, e.g., Europe, India, US etcetera
• Experience working in global organizations is preferred
• Law degree or a certificate of expertise in contract management e.g., National Contract Management Association is preferred
