About the Role

We’re looking for sharp, imaginative English-major students who love turning ideas into polished prose. As a Content Writing Intern you’ll learn the full content lifecycle—from brainstorming topics and researching angles to drafting, editing, and tracking performance. You’ll work alongside seasoned marketers who will mentor you on SEO, brand voice, and audience engagement while you build a professional portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging long-form and short-form copy

    for blog posts, email campaigns, landing pages, social media, and product descriptions.
  • Conduct topic research

    using both primary (interviews, surveys) and secondary sources to ensure content depth and accuracy.
  • Optimize drafts for SEO

    (keywords, meta tags, readability) with guidance from the SEO specialist.
  • Collaborate with designers and videographers

    to align copy with visual assets.
  • Proofread and self-edit

    for clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand style guidelines.
  • Monitor performance

    (reads, time on page, shares) and suggest tweaks to boost engagement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Current

    Bachelor’s or Master’s student in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline

    (recent graduates also welcome).
  • Impeccable written English

    —grammar, style, tone, and narrative flow.
  • Demonstrated passion for writing (campus newspaper, personal blog, published articles, etc.).
  • Curiosity and research skills

    ; you’re comfortable turning technical or niche topics into reader-friendly stories.
  • Time-management chops

    —able to juggle multiple deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Familiarity with

    Google Docs or MS Word

    ; exposure to CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow) and basic SEO concepts is a plus.
  • Optional nice-to-haves: Canva or basic design skills, understanding of social media trends, knowledge of AP/Chicago style.
