About the role

We’re looking for a high-end editor who can cut cinematic brand films and ads, create clean motion graphics, and handle day-to-day graphic design (social posts, thumbnails, key visuals). You’ll turn scripts and raw footage into polished stories, keeping quality high and turnarounds tight.

What you’ll do

• Edit short ads, brand films, explainers, product demos, reels, teasers, and case studies for web & social.
• Design motion graphics: titles, lower thirds, kinetic text, logo animations, transitions, UI/infographics.
• Grade & finish: color correction/looks, sound cleanup/mix, music/sfx selection, subtitling, and delivery in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1).
• Graphic design tasks: campaign key visuals, social carousels, thumbnails, simple posters, pitch decks; maintain brand consistency and typography.
• Storycraft: propose match cuts, rhythm, pacing, and visual language that elevates the narrative.
• File hygiene: structured timelines, proxies, versioning, organized project files, media management.
• Collaboration: work with creative, copy/VO, and client teams; accept feedback and iterate fast.

Must-have skills

• Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro (or Final Cut) with strong timeline discipline and pacing instincts.
• Motion Graphics: After Effects (shape layers, graph editor, masking, track mattes, parenting, basic expressions).
• Color: DaVinci Resolve (or Lumetri) for balanced, cinematic looks; exposure/skin-tone awareness.
• Design: Photoshop & Illustrator fundamentals (retouching, comps, vector clean-ups), solid typography and layout.
• Audio: Basic cleanup, noise reduction, VO/music alignment, loudness-safe exports.
• Delivery: Export pipelines, codecs, and platform specs (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Portfolio: A reel or 3–5 links showing your edits & motion work (call out your role clearly).

Nice-to-have (big plus)

• Figma for quick layouts and social templates.
• Basic 3D/text animation (Element 3D, Blender, or C4D lite).
• Set etiquette: shot logging, proxy relinking, multicam.

AI Filmmaking Bonus (stand-out factor)

• If you’re already exploring AI-assisted production, tell us! We love:
• Runway / Pika / Veo for shot generation, upscale, in-painting, and motion design accents.
• Midjourney / Stable Diffusion / SDXL for style frames, matte paintings, product stills.
• AnimateDiff / ControlNet / ComfyUI basics for controlled motion.
• Audio/VO tools (e.g., ElevenLabs) for temp narrations; script-to-screen experiments.
• Pipeline thinking: prompt hygiene, reference boards, style consistency, upscaling, and post-integration with AE/Resolve.
