We are making an intelligent, data-driven car recommendation engine that will eliminate personal bias and external influence when choosing a car. We will suggest the best car, down to the powertrain-variant combo, to suit the buyers’ budget and feature preferences while prioritising ownership experience and value-for-money quotient.

The V3Cars platform will bring together the best of applied data science and social science to help car buyers make an informed decision that satisfies the head and the heart. We are building a platform that can evaluate all cars and their variants on the basis of the value they offer at a certain price point. The tool will be able to analyse multiple cars and variants on the basis of segment, size, engine specs and other features.

We are looking for a qualified Content Creator to join our team. You will be responsible for creating content within our marketing strategy or content plan. Your duties will include working on automotive-related content and writing car reviews, launch & news stories, car comparisons, listicles, tips, and advisory stories —basically, everything and anything around cars.

Our ideal candidate is a Content Creator who is inquisitive and motivated to help take us to the next level. This role will be critical in managing the quality and effectiveness of all the content shared on our website, social media channels, email newsletters and any other channels!

Responsibilities

• Produce content as per the Strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
• Write crisp stories/ articles that are engaging and interactive 
• Optimize content according to SEO: Efficient with SEO based writing and other tools, also knows image sourcing, compress, and other basic technicalities regarding content writing
• Follow content guidelines to maintain consistent brand voice
• Track competitors and work with peers to create a fresh spin on a topic that is already covered
• Translate complex information into simple, easily-to-understand language
• Work with and help the Junior Content Writer improve the quality and quantity of content through regular feedback loops
• Quickly turn around articles while maintaining quality
• Create and publish engaging content
• Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)

Requirements

• Hands on experience with MS Office and Google Docs
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
• Familiarity with SEO, social media and web traffic metrics
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Relevant Experience or Degree in Journalism, Marketing or related field
