Content Creator and Strategist

Job Description

We’re looking for a creative and trend-savvy Content Creator & Strategist to drive engaging, platform-native content across our social channels—especially Instagram. You must be a pet parent or comfortable with pets, with a natural flair for ideating, scripting, and shooting Reels. If you’re the kind who’s always first to jump on viral trends, speaks fluent meme, and knows what works on the algorithm—this role is for you. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage our content calendar for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms. Conceptualize and shoot thumb-stopping Reels, behind-the-scenes content, and trend-led pet videos. Stay on top of algorithm shifts, trend cycles, and viral formats to integrate them into our content strategy. Collaborate with in-house marketing and retail teams to amplify events, new launches, and seasonal campaigns. Maintain a consistent brand voice across formats and touchpoints. Analyze engagement metrics and iterate content strategy accordingly. Requirements: Proven experience creating social-first video content (preferably Reels/Shorts) Strong camera presence and/or behind-the-lens storytelling Comfort around pets—bonus if you're a pet parent Hands-on with editing tools (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, etc.) Clear understanding of audience behavior on Instagram Ability to juggle multiple formats and shoot with agility (iPhone shooting proficiency a plus) Nice-to-Haves: Experience with influencer marketing or community building Background in D2C or lifestyle brands Experience working in a fast-paced content studio environment Show more Show less
