Content Creator and Strategist

As a creative and trend-savvy Content Creator & Strategist, your role will involve driving engaging, platform-native content across social channels, with a focus on Instagram. You should have a natural flair for ideating, scripting, and shooting Reels. If you are always up-to-date with viral trends, fluent in memes, and understand what works on the algorithm, this role is tailored for you. Key Responsibilities: - Own and manage the content calendar for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging platforms. - Conceptualize and produce thumb-stopping Reels, behind-the-scenes content, and trend-led pet videos. - Keep abreast of algorithm shifts, trend cycles, and viral formats to incorporate them into the content strategy. - Collaborate with the in-house marketing and retail teams to enhance events, new launches, and seasonal campaigns. - Maintain a consistent brand voice across various formats and touchpoints. - Analyze engagement metrics and adjust the content strategy accordingly. Requirements: - Proven experience in creating social-first video content, preferably Reels/Shorts. - Strong camera presence and/or storytelling skills behind the lens. - Comfortable around pets, with a preference for pet parents. - Proficient with editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, etc. - Clear understanding of audience behavior on Instagram. - Ability to handle multiple formats and shoot with agility (proficiency in iPhone shooting is a plus). Nice-to-Haves: - Experience with influencer marketing or community building. - Background in D2C or lifestyle brands. - Experience working in a fast-paced content studio environment.,
