Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to todays toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. From portfolio review and capital allocation processes to financial planning analytics and decision support, we have the people, analytics and tools to better allocate capital. The CCS include Strategy, Corporate Finance, Buy and Integrate, Sell and Separate and Reshaping Results, and are underpinned by our Connected Capital Technologies.Our key focus areas are - Investment Banking Advisory, Valuations, Modeling and Economics, Transaction Diligence, Restructuring and Turnaround Services, Project Finance and infrastructure, EY Parthenon - Strategy and EY Parthenon - Execution.Your key responsibilitiesTechnical ExcellenceRole purposeSupport end-to-end strategy engagements for Financial Services clients (e.g., banking, NBFCs, insurance, payments, wealth/asset management). Youll work on market scans, benchmarking, business cases, operating models, and transformation roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams.Key responsibilitiesStructure and analyze problems; build robust, well-sourced models and exhibits (Excel/PowerPoint).Conduct research (primary/secondary), competitor benchmarking, and customer/partner interviews.Build business cases (growth, cost, tech-enablement) with clear assumptions and sensitivities.Draft client-ready storyboards; support workshops, PMO hygiene, and status reporting.Collaborate with technology, risk, and data teams to translate strategy into execution plans.Skills and attributesTo qualify for the role you must haveQualificationBachelors degree in Engineering/Economics/Statistics/Finance/Commerce or equivalent.Strong analytical toolkit (Excel), business storytelling (PowerPoint), and business writing.Exposure to FS topics (any ofretail/MSME lending, deposits, cards/payments, insurance, wealth).Experience13 years total experience, ideally in strategy/management consulting, corporate strategy, product/analytics in BFSI/fintech, or a rotational leadership program with FS exposure.Demonstrated experience building models, synthesizing insights, and creating client-ready slides.
