Job Summary:

The Construction Estimator is responsible for calculating the total costs of construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. This role ensures projects stay within budget and helps prepare competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Analysis: Review plans, visit sites, and understand project scope.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates and update as needed.
• Budget Preparation: Develop and maintain project budgets, assist in value engineering.
• Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit bids, negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Collaboration: Work with project teams and communicate estimates to stakeholders.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates and track project costs.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and improve estimating techniques.
• XACTIMATE experience is mandatory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Proficiency in estimation software.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
