Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Concrete Testing Engineer at our NABL-accredited lab in Mumbai. The Concrete Testing Engineer will be responsible for conducting tests on concrete and other building materials, preparing test reports, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 standards, and maintaining lab equipment. The role involves coordinating with other team members and clients to deliver accurate and timely test results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform

  concrete cube and beam strength tests

  as per IS codes.
• Prepare and test samples in compliance with standard procedures and timelines.
• Accurately

  check, validate, and issue test reports

  , ensuring all data is complete, error-free, and traceable.
• Conduct testing in the presence of

  client representatives/witnesses

  , ensuring transparency and proper documentation.
• Maintain laboratory records, equipment logs, and ensure calibration standards are followed.
• Coordinate with site teams, internal departments, and clients for test scheduling and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with NABL and ISO 17025 quality protocols and lab safety practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• 1–3 years

  of relevant experience in a concrete/material testing lab.
• Strong understanding of cube and beam testing procedures.
• Experience in handling

  client-witnessed tests

  and verbal reporting when required.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 and NABL documentation practices.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) for report preparation.

Preferred:

• Experience in NABL-accredited labs.
• Knowledge of IS/ASTM standards for testing.
• Ability to manage testing workflows under tight deadlines.
