Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Concrete Testing Engineer at our NABL-accredited lab in Mumbai. The Concrete Testing Engineer will be responsible for conducting tests on concrete and other building materials, preparing test reports, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 standards, and maintaining lab equipment. The role involves coordinating with other team members and clients to deliver accurate and timely test results. Key Responsibilities: Perform concrete cube and beam strength tests as per IS codes. Prepare and test samples in compliance with standard procedures and timelines. Accurately check, validate, and issue test reports , ensuring all data is complete, error-free, and traceable. Conduct testing in the presence of client representatives/witnesses , ensuring transparency and proper documentation. Maintain laboratory records, equipment logs, and ensure calibration standards are followed. Coordinate with site teams, internal departments, and clients for test scheduling and reporting. Ensure compliance with NABL and ISO 17025 quality protocols and lab safety practices. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience in a concrete/material testing lab. Strong understanding of cube and beam testing procedures. Experience in handling client-witnessed tests and verbal reporting when required. Familiarity with ISO 17025 and NABL documentation practices. The candidate will focus on the analysis and characterization of metals, with a strong emphasis on steel grade identification using Spectrometer (OES) and other analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities Conduct chemical and spectrographic analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Operate and maintain Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES/Spectro Analyzer) for grade identification. Interpret results as per Indian and International Standards (IS/ASTM/EN/JIS) . Prepare and verify test reports in compliance with NABL ISO/IEC 17025 guidelines. Maintain calibration logs, testing records, and ensure traceability of data.
