Computer Aided Design Engineer

Job Description:

SAKSHAM TECHNOLUTION is research driven startup working in drone research and development. Majority of the R&D work is focused in drone swarming and fleet management.

SAKSHAM TECHNOLUTION is looking for highly skilled and experienced CAD Engineer who is proficient in designing, prototyping and testing of the systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop 3D models with consideration of stresses and load.

• Develop assembly of models.

• Create Engineering Drawing drafts for manufacturing.

• Generate 3D Print or laser cut files.

• Structural analysis of models using Solidworks, Ansys, or similar software.

• Participate in testing and performance evaluation of the system.

• Conduct literature reviews and market research to support product improvements.

• Document test results, design iterations, and prepare technical reports.

• Collaborate with the team on new concepts, brainstorming, and problem-solving.

Required Skills:

• Thorough clarity on Design for manufacturing (DFM) and Design for assembly (DFA).

• Proficiency in SolidWorks.

• Good understanding of S.O.M and can perform load and stress calculation.

Preferred Skills:

Preferred skills are not mandatory for selection but will be given extra weightage.

• Experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, prototyping and sheet metal processes.

• Knowledge about aerodynamics calculation and analysis.

• Basic knowledge of drones.

Experience Level:

Freshers or up to 4 years of experience.

Education Qualification:

B. Tech /B.E /M. Tech /M.Sc in Mechanical, aerospace or related field.
