Job Summary:

CAD Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and revise CAD drawings for bridges, culverts, flyovers, retaining walls, and other highway structures.
Develop plan, elevation, section, and reinforcement drawings as per design inputs.
Coordinate with structural and civil engineers to ensure drawing accuracy and design intent.
Manage drawing documentation, layer standards, and version control.
Ensure drawings comply with IRC, MORTH, and relevant standards.
Conduct site visits, if necessary, for data collection or drawing validation.
Support the preparation of As-Built drawings and final submission packages.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D, Revit, or MicroStation is a plus).
Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting experience in bridge or NH projects.
Sound understanding of highway engineering and structural detailing.
Familiarity with IRC codes, MoRTH specifications, and other Indian standards.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

Prior experience working with consulting or EPC firms in NH/Bridge sectors.
Knowledge of BIM standards (optional but desirable).
Strong communication and coordination skills.
