Job Summary:

CAD Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and revise CAD drawings for bridges, culverts, flyovers, retaining walls, and other highway structures.
  • Develop plan, elevation, section, and reinforcement drawings as per design inputs.
  • Coordinate with structural and civil engineers to ensure drawing accuracy and design intent.
  • Manage drawing documentation, layer standards, and version control.
  • Ensure drawings comply with IRC, MORTH, and relevant standards.
  • Conduct site visits, if necessary, for data collection or drawing validation.
  • Support the preparation of As-Built drawings and final submission packages.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D, Revit, or MicroStation is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting experience in bridge or NH projects.
  • Sound understanding of highway engineering and structural detailing.
  • Familiarity with IRC codes, MoRTH specifications, and other Indian standards.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience working with consulting or EPC firms in NH/Bridge sectors.
  • Knowledge of BIM standards (optional but desirable).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
