Job Description

As a Compliance Risk Management Senior Analyst, Assistant Vice President at Citi in Mumbai, India, you will be part of the Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) team, providing guidance and challenge to manage compliance risk and promote behavior consistent with Citis mission. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices for ICRM. - Analyzing comparative data and preparing regional and global reports related to compliance risk assessments and monitoring of compliance-related issues. - Reviewing materials to ensure compliance with various regulatory and legal requirements, identifying and addressing potential risks. - Investigating and assisting in responses to compliance risk issues, including regulatory inquiries, documentation, recommendations to senior management, and preparing responses. - Monitoring adherence to Citis Compliance Risk Policies and relevant procedures, preparing, editing, and maintaining Compliance program materials. - Interacting and working with other areas within Citi, staying abreast of regulatory changes and internal policy changes to identify new key risk areas. - Tracking and validating issues raised by India ICRM during reviews, ensuring timely and accurate provision of country-specific KRI/KPI requirements in governance forums, and preparing draft RBS Tranche III files for RBI submission. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8+ years of work experience - Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies (India regulatory, RBS, Testing, Audit, Risk Management) - Knowledge in the area of focus - Markets is highly preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and navigate a complex structure - Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously - Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Education: - Bachelors degree; experience in compliance, legal, or other control-related functions in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in the area of focus; Advanced degree preferred Joining Citi means being part of a global family of over 230,000 dedicated individuals, where you will have the opportunity to grow your career, contribute to your community, and make a real impact.
