Job Description

Role Overview: As an experienced Compliance Manager with 4-8 years of experience, your role will primarily focus on regulatory and contractual compliance within the IT industry. You will be responsible for staying updated on relevant laws and regulations, developing compliance strategies, conducting internal audits, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and contributing to policy development. Key Responsibilities: - Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting the IT industry. - Develop and implement compliance strategies to mitigate risks. - Conduct periodic internal audits to assess adherence to regulatory requirements. - Handle filings of Shops and establishment, CLRA, annual POSH reports, Maternity benefit, ER 1, and all other Labor law related compliance filings. - Manage renewals of Shops and establishment and other company-related licenses. - Ensure statewide compliances in locations where company offices are situated. - Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards. - Collaborate with various departments to ensure contractual obligations are met. - Provide guidance on contract interpretation and negotiation. - Review and prepare internal employment agreements for overseas branches and subsidiaries. - Plan and execute internal audits to assess operational efficiency. - Identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation. - Produce comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations. - Liaise with external compliance consultants. - Contribute to the development and enhancement of company policies. - Educate employees on compliance policies and procedures. - Work closely with legal, finance, and other departments to address compliance issues. - Provide guidance to project teams on compliance matters as required. - Represent the Company in external client audits. Qualifications Required: - Analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Strong Knowledge about labor laws and employment relations. - Proficient in legal research and interpretation. - Strong understanding of IT services industry, types of contracts, and regulatory frameworks. - Preferred experience of compliance management tools like DCM, EY compliance tool, CLM tools, etc. - Proven experience in conducting internal audits. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.,
