About the Compliance Analyst Role

The Compliance Analyst will be the expert on compliance processes for individuals and businesses in the India.

Time Zone Note:

The Higlobe team operates across 20 countries. For this position, we are seeking a candidate who can initially demonstrate flexibility with their schedule to accommodate training. Once fully trained, the individual will transition to working standard business hours (Indian Time).

What You ll Do:

Monitor KYC/KYB/sanctions queues for exceptions and work cases to conclusion
Perform transaction monitoring to identify AML and/or fraud issues for analysis
Contribute to development of analytics methodologies and repeatable modeling and monitoring strategies
Apply strategic and analytic thinking to a wide range of essential tasks
Analyze and develop actionable intelligence on compliance risks and mitigating actions
Support cross-functional teams assigned to assess and implement mitigation strategies for those risks

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in performing KYC/KYB/EDD
5+ years of experience in fraud monitoring and detection
Experience working in a cross functional environment
Knowledge of the relevant rules and regulations (FFIEC, GDPR, LGPD, FinCEN)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently
Meticulous attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work within tight deadlines and within a team environment
Ability to research and apply new regulations
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including experience interviewing and assessing credibility of sources
