Company Secretary and Legal Manager

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate laws, regulations, and governance requirements.
• Organize and manage board meetings, including preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and maintaining statutory registers.
• Provide legal guidance to the board and senior leadership on corporate governance matters and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review, and manage a wide range of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Handle legal matters such as litigation, arbitration, and regulatory filings.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and government authorities as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory changes that may affect the organization.
• Support strategic initiatives by identifying legal risks and recommending solutions to mitigate them.

• Strong experience in Company Secretarial Work and Board Governance
• Proficient in Legal Compliance and statutory reporting
• Skilled in Legal Document Preparation and contract management
• Excellent knowledge of corporate laws, secretarial practices, and regulatory frameworks
• Effective communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance legal obligations with strategic business needs
