The candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality control, cost optimization, workforce management, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesOverall management of jewellery manufacturing plant operationsProduction planning and execution for gold, silver, diamond jewelleryMonitoring casting, polishing, setting, finishing, and quality processesEnsuring production targets, timelines, and cost efficiencyImplementing SOPs, quality standards, and compliance normsManaging manpower, supervisors, and department headsReducing wastage, controlling losses, and improving productivityCoordination with design, merchandising, and sales teamsInventory control of raw materials, WIP, and finished goodsMaintenance of machinery and production infrastructureSkills & RequirementsMinimum 10 years of experience in jewellery manufacturingStrong knowledge of end-to-end jewellery production processesExperience in handling large teams and factory operationsExcellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of quality control, wastage control, and process improvementFamiliarity with ERP/production tracking systems preferredQualificationDiploma / Bachelor’s degree (Engineering / Production / Management preferred)Jewellery manufacturing background is mandatory
