RISE is an international NGO school committed to offering free, quality education to underprivileged students aged 10 to 18. While our classrooms focus on interactive learning, our community operations are equally vital in building strong connections with our students and their families.

We are looking for a Community Operations Manager to take charge of key outreach and engagement responsibilities. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education, youth empowerment, and community-based development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing school-community operations, including student home visits
  • Maintaining student demographic data and generating associated analysis
  • Writing and presenting student stories to local donors and stakeholders
  • Leading research on vocational skill development opportunities for students
  • Planning and organizing educational trips that expand students’ horizons

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience or strong interest in community engagement and education
  • Can communicate effectively in Bengali and English
  • Is organized, empathetic, and creative in approach
  • Comfortable working closely with students, families, and donors
  • Familiar with data management, reporting, and storytelling techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Community Development, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in community engagement, education programs, or NGO work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with underprivileged communities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data entry and analysis
  • Experience in report writing or storytelling for donors or public communication
  • Knowledge of local vocational training institutions and career development pathways
  • Ability to plan and manage field visits, logistics, and student excursions
  • Comfortable working in low-resource or field-based settings
