About Us:

GrowthX is a membership club for leaders & founders. Our members are from Google, Amazon, Razorpay, Airbnb, CRED, Paytm, Zerodha, Swiggy- you name a startup and they'll most likely be part of GrowthX.

The GrowthX membership gives 3 things- one, structured learning taught by top leaders in the country, second, a curated social media platform that becomes their safe space to soundboard about anything, & third, orbit changing outcomes- whether it's cracking interviews, getting promoted or hiring their own teams.

GrowthX is a profitable company, and is also backed by the largest seed round in the world with 212 angel investors. Our founders were leaders from Razorpay & CRED and the team is a diverse team ex-founders, growth leaders, PHD researchers, game designers, & artists.

As the Event Specialist, you will be responsible for creating brag-worthy experiences for our community members.

You will oversee the entire event lifecycle, from ideation and audience curation to budgeting, planning, vendor management, merchandising, and ensuring the smooth conduct of events.

1. Event management and execution

• Lead the planning, organization, and execution of in-person events across 6+ major Indian cities.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure events are memorable, impactful, and community-first.

2. Vendor management

• Identify, negotiate with, and manage vendors to deliver high-quality experiences within budget and timelines.

3. Budget management

• Plan and allocate event budgets meticulously to maximize impact.
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure compliance.

4. Create & scale offline assets

• Create new event IPs and scale them across cities.
• Build strategies that make GrowthX events the go-to weekend plan for our members.

5. Documentation

• Provide updates and insights to the founders & team on event strategies, execution, and outcomes.
• Maintain documentation on processes and playbooks.
• Use tools such as HubSpot and Mailerlite for reporting and data management.

What are we looking for?

• Have prior experience building events from 0 → 1.
• Understand the nuances of audience curation, budgeting, vendor management, and merchandising.
• Think creatively and care about building unique, memorable experiences.
• Are highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Can work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Are comfortable with tools like HubSpot, Clevertap, or any marketing automation tools.
• Believe in quality over quantity when it comes to events.
