Role Overview:

The Communication & Admissions Specialist will be responsible for shaping the school’s communications strategy while also managing the admissions process. This role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to engage effectively with parents, prospective families, staff, and external collaborators. The role will serve as the bridge between the school’s vision and its community, ensuring clarity, consistency, and warmth in all interactions.


Key Responsibilities:Admissions

-Provide accurate and timely information about school programs, facilities, and policies.

-Guide parents through application, documentation, and enrolment processes.

-Coordinate admission events such as admissions meet & greets, orientations, and campus visits.

-Maintain records of enquiries, applications, and conversions for reporting and analysis.

-Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new students.


Communications:

-Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan aligned with TRS’s vision and values.

-Draft and manage content for newsletters, circulars, announcements, and promotional material.

-Manage and grow the school’s social media platforms and website presence.

-Document school events through write-ups.

-Build relationships with media outlets and support press coverage of major events.

-Ensure communication materials reflect professionalism and reinforce the TRS brand identity.

-Support Directors and senior leadership with presentations and reports.


Skills & Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.

-3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, customer relations, admissions, or marketing.

-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English & Hindi (proficiency in additional languages is an advantage).

-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with parents.

-Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a bonus.

-Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

-A proactive, approachable, and solution-oriented mindset.
