Commodity Manager

As a Sourcing Manager at Gates Corporation, your role will involve developing and qualifying new components, processes, and suppliers. You will support current production issues, increase capacity, and audit suppliers to ensure process conformance. Coordination between departments is essential to ensure flawless launches with suppliers. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all matters related to the cost of supply for assigned categories - Establish and implement strategies to optimize costs, working capital, and terms - Lead procurement activities such as sourcing events, negotiations, data analysis, and supplier development - Coordinate with stakeholders for Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) for child Parts - Assure material flow of assigned categories into Gates sites - Develop poor performing suppliers and maintain KPIs to monitor and improve supplier performance - Build stakeholder alignment to support new product development initiatives To be successful in this role, you should: - Lead with an outside-in mindset, placing customers at the center of all activities - Exemplify Gates ethics and core values to develop talents with the right skills and knowledge - Advocate for rewarding performance to ensure sustainable growth - Design a contemporary and innovative learning environment to attract a diverse talent pool Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, East Asia & India, you will support him in all day-to-day operations to achieve the company's business objectives.
