Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Jalandhar for a Commi Chef specializing in Continental Cuisine at PVR Limited. The Commi Chef will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality continental dishes. Tasks include following recipes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, organizing ingredients, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The candidate will collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and cooking Continental Cuisine, with a strong passion for culinary arts
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, basic and advanced cooking skills, and plating practices
• Ability to maintain food safety standards and adhere to hygiene protocols in the kitchen
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to work alongside chefs and kitchen staff efficiently
• Flexibility to work in shifts and during weekends or holidays as required
• Formal culinary training or a diploma from a reputable culinary institute is preferred
• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment specializing in continental cuisine is an advantage
