Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Commis Chef to join our team at Destination Hotels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and excellent kitchen management skills.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning menus and ensuring high-quality food production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including starters, main courses, and desserts.
  • Collaborate with other chefs to achieve seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and ensure high-quality food presentation.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the culinary industry.
