Commi Chef

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team at Turf Cafe. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing food inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent food presentation and taste.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Plan and develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Ensure proper food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff on cooking techniques and portion control.
• Monitor food stock, control wastage, and manage inventory efficiently.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
• Collaborate with management to control food costs and meet profitability targets.
• Handle customer feedback and make improvements as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef in a cafe/restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification (preferred).
