Role & responsibilities

• Ensuring 100% correct filing of Bills of Entry under appropriate schemes (EPCG, Advance Licenses, RODTEP, SAPTA, etc.) with the correct duty structure before the arrival of the shipment at the port of final destination for the import of raw material, Capital goods etc for VYTL shipments.
• Ensuring 100% compliance with the E-Way Bill regulations for the imported consignments cleared at Ludhiana ports for VYTL shipments.
• To ensure timely clearance for the imported consignments of Raw Material, Capital goods etc at Ludhiana ports for VYTL Shipments.
• Recovery of Demurrage, Detention and Late filling charges occurred / levied at different ports Like Ludhiana, Mandideep, Mumbai and Delhi due to shipper's mistake for Vardhman Group including VYTL.
• Issuance of Annual Contract with different stakeholders like CHA, Fumigator etc for Vardhman Group including VYTL.
• Coordinating with Transporter for dispatching the containers to units on timely basis. Also closely monitoring with units for de-stuffing the containers well within the free time.
• Refund of security from shipping lines pertaining to VYTL.
• Sending the payments to CAD for forwarders, Shipping lines, CHA, Transporter, Warehouse etc.
• Liasoning with Units, CPPD, CRMD, CAD , CFD, CED etc for issues related to VYTL Import shipments.
• Preparation of Quaterly and Annual Budget.
• Maintaining the License utilization details for RoDTEP and ROSCTL for VYTL
• Preparation of Monthly review for VYTL.
• Checking and verifying the Customs tariff against the imported products towards issuance of amendment/ new regulations/ new guidelines regarding Custom clearance.
• Studying and implementing the Customs notification in VYTL issued by Customs time to time.
• Any other assignments given by HOD from time to time.
