Job Description

Experience:
2+ years of experience in IT operations, Command Centre/Network Operations Centre (NOC) monitoring, or incident management. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or similar. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).

Monitoring and Incident Management:
Perform 24/7 real-time monitoring of IT infrastructure, applications, and network systems to detect and respond to anomalies, alerts, and performance issues. Analyze and triage alerts based on impact, severity, and priority, ensuring timely incident logging and tracking. Troubleshoot incidents at the first level, and escalate unresolved or critical issues to Level 2/3 support teams. Manage the end-to-end incident lifecycle, including initial detection, resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews. Reporting and Analytics: Generate and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance, incident metrics (e.g., Mean Time to Resolve - MTTR, uptime), and SLA compliance for the respective shift. Conduct trend analysis to identify recurring issues, system bottlenecks, and opportunities for operational improvements. Proactive Monitoring and Optimization: Identify potential risks and proactively recommend preventive measures to enhance system stability and reliability. Suggest and implement best practices to optimize monitoring processes, tools, and procedures. Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, application support, and cybersecurity teams, to manage incidents and escalations effectively. Provide timely updates to stakeholders during major incidents, ensuring clear communication on resolution progress and impact. Stay updated on the latest monitoring technologies, trends, and best practices.
