Job Description

Role Overview: As a Portfolio Manager in the organization, you will be responsible for managing portfolios effectively and ensuring smooth operations in the collection/repo process. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: - Allocating portfolio to vendors based on past performance trends and Field Officers (FOs) availability, while ensuring adequate manpower capacity for the portfolio. - Reviewing cases with FOS / Team Leaders (TL) and assigning work based on disposition codes. - Coordinating with agency resources to plan calls for better resolution, providing necessary support to the agency for handling difficult cases. - Periodically allocating receipt books & Repo kits and conducting audits. - Ensuring closure of agency billing within 60 days of completing the work month. - Securing prior approvals in repo cases and assisting agencies in managing repo-related issues. - Addressing collection/repo related customer service issues and escalations. - Collaborating with the legal team to initiate legal actions against chronic defaulters and liaising with enforcement agencies in cases filed against the organization by customers/third parties. - Tracking and reviewing BKT resolution with agencies and FOs at the field level. - Monitoring flow rates to the next BKT and implementing restrictions as required for the location under your purview. - Identifying and removing non-performing FOs, recruiting a fresh team, and providing training when necessary. - Ensuring closure of CRM queries within the assigned Turnaround Time (TAT). - Addressing RCU audit queries promptly and implementing committed actions at the field level before the TAT. - Discussing receipt book discrepancies with agencies to prevent reoccurrence of such issues in the field. - Ensuring 100% utilization of Hand Held Terminals (HHT) and submitting reports to Area Collection Manager (ACM) / Regional Collection Manager (RCM) regularly. - Reporting non-functioning HHTs to the IT team for necessary support. Qualification Required: - Relevant experience in portfolio management or collection/repo process. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively. - Knowledge of legal procedures related to collection activities would be an advantage.
