Collection Executive / Officer

Job Title: Collection Executive – Finance (Medical Services) Location: T Nagar, Chennai Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collection Executive with a finance background to handle payment follow-ups and collections in the healthcare/medical services sector. The role involves managing patient/customer outstanding bills, coordinating with insurance partners, and ensuring timely recovery while maintaining sensitivity in medical-related interactions. Key Responsibilities: Follow up with patients/customers for outstanding payments in a professional and empathetic manner. Coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, and finance teams for claim settlements and reimbursements. Ensure timely collection of dues for medical services rendered. Maintain accurate records of collections, outstanding accounts, and payment schedules. Generate and share daily/weekly collection reports with the finance team. Resolve billing/payment disputes in coordination with the accounts and operations team. Ensure compliance with healthcare and financial regulations in collection activities. Build strong relationships with patients/customers while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity. Requirements: Qualification : B.Com / BBA / Graduate in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Prior experience in healthcare, hospital, or medical billing/collections preferred. Strong knowledge of finance, billing, and collection processes. Good communication and negotiation skills with an empathetic approach. Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software tools. Ability to work under deadlines and achieve collection targets.
