Collection Executive / Officer

  Job Title: Collection Executive – Loan Industry (Experienced Only) Location: Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: Minimum 1–3 years in collections (preferably financial services, NBFC, banking) Industry: Loan & Financial Services   About the Role We are seeking experienced Collection Executives who can handle overdue accounts, follow up with customers for payment reminders, and ensure timely recovery. Candidates must be confident, persistent, and well-versed in tele-collections processes in the loan industry.   Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to customers with overdue EMIs or outstanding loan amounts. Remind customers of due dates and persuade them to make payments on time. Negotiate payment plans and settlements within company guidelines. Maintain strong follow-ups through calls, SMS, and WhatsApp as needed. Update payment commitments and customer status in the CRM system. Explain consequences of non-payment while maintaining professionalism. Coordinate with field collection teams when necessary. Achieve monthly collection targets and reduce delinquency rates. Record all interactions accurately and maintain proper documentation.   Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in tele-collections in loan/finance/banking sector. Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve payment disputes. Knowledge of collections stages preferred. Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and ethical collection practices. Basic computer skills and CRM software handling experience.   Preferred Attributes Experience handling unsecured loan collections . High resilience and ability to work under pressure.
