Key Responsibilities 1. Overdue Account Management (90–120 DPD) Track and monitor accounts that are 90–120 days overdue. Prioritize high-risk customers and create recovery plans tailored to each customer. 2. Customer Follow-Up & Communication Conduct regular phone calls, mails, messages and written communication to customers with overdue Loans. Explain outstanding dues, charges, and consequences of continued non-payment. Maintain professional communication while ensuring customer sensitivity. 3. Negotiation & Settlement Negotiate repayment terms, part-payment arrangements, and settlement plans as per NBFC guidelines. Encourage customers to clear dues or regularize accounts within defined timelines. Collect PDCs, cheques, or other payment instruments when required. 4. Field Recovery Visits Verify customer location, business/Job status, and willingness to repay. Ensure safe and compliant field operations as per RBI and company rules. 5. Documentation & Reporting Update daily collection activities in the company’s CRM or collection system. Maintain detailed records of visits, conversations, and commitments from customers. Submit daily working reports to the Collection Manager. 6. Coordination with Internal Teams Work closely with legal, credit, and risk teams for escalation and legal actions such as:- Section 138 cheque bounce procedures Coordinate with payment teams for settlement processing. 7. Compliance & Ethical Recovery Practices Follow RBI Fair Practices Code and NBFC’s internal compliance standards. Avoid any coercive or unethical recovery practices. 8. Achieving Monthly Recovery Targets Meet or exceed set recovery targets for the 90–120 DPD bucket. Improve bucket efficiency and minimize forward flow to higher DPD buckets (120+). Required Skills & Competencies :- Strong communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of Pay day loan and collections process. Debt recovery and customer handling experience.
