ob Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:1. Daily Collateral & Margin Management

• Monitor portfolio exposure (Net Present Value) and ensure sufficient collateral is in place.
• Process daily

  margin calls

   (posting and calling collateral) for derivatives, securities lending, and repo trades.
• Allocate and reconcile collateral according to client agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Handle recalls and returns of securities, including triparty and bilateral arrangements.
• Collaborate with traders, brokers, custodians, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.

2. Trade Settlement & Reconciliation

• Ensure timely and accurate settlement of security transactions booked in systems (e.g., BOLIVAR, Calypso, or similar).
• Investigate and resolve

  nostro, depot, and accounting breaks

   in collaboration with Securities Control and Accounting teams.
• Pass corrective entries in trade/settlement systems to clear outstanding items.
• Escalate operational risks to management when necessary.

3. Process Improvement & Risk Management

• Follow internal procedures and compliance rules to mitigate operational and reputational risks.
• Monitor market risks (e.g., buy-ins) and take appropriate actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve

  STP rates

   with custodians and reduce manual interventions.
• Maintain close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and record-keeping for daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in

  Collateral Management, Margin Operations, or Securities Operations

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  derivatives, securities lending, repo transactions, and collateral processes

  .
• Experience with

  settlement and reconciliation systems

   (BOLIVAR, Calypso, or similar).
• Familiarity with

  bilateral and triparty collateral arrangements

  .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Trade/Collateral Systems:

• MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Reporting & reconciliation tools (SMART/Instruct, Blotter, BOE, IQM)
