Position: CNC Machine Technician (1 Position)
Department: New Product Development
Location: Gurugram, Haryana
Reporting To: Head NPD
Education:
AICTE approved institute ITI (Machinist / Turner / Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering [Preferred]
Person with proven skills with other educational background can also apply.
Total Experience: Minimum 8 ~ 12 Years
Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled and responsible CNC Machine Technician with around 10 years of hands-on experience in operating, setting, and maintaining CNC machines for precision component manufacturing.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in machining complex and critical parts, a deep understanding of machine programming and tooling, and a disciplined work approach. Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Gurugram region with a stable family background and commitment to long-term association.
Responsibilities / Skill & Competency Requirements:
1. Operate, set up, and program CNC turning and machining centers as per prototype production requirements.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and machining process sheets.
3. Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for different materials.
4. Manufacture precision and complex components as per quality standards and tolerances.
5. Conduct regular machine maintenance and ensure uptime through preventive practices.
6. Coordinate with process and quality teams to resolve machining challenges.
7. Record production data, maintain dimensional accuracy, and follow all safety norms.
8. Train junior operators or apprentices when required.
9. Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
10. Should be flexible to work in shifts.
Key Skills & Competencies:
1) Excellent knowledge of CNC turning and milling operations.
2) Proficient in understanding and editing CNC Programs.
3) Strong problem-solving skills in machining process optimization.
4) Familiarity with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, Bore Gauge, etc.).
5) Commitment to quality, discipline, and teamwork.
6) Reliable and family-oriented individual with stable work habits.
Preferred Profile:
1) Male candidate, married, residing in or near Gurugram, Haryana.
2) Minimum 10 years of continuous experience in a reputed machine shop or automotive component manufacturing company.
3) Capable of independently handling jobs involving close tolerances and complex geometries.
