CNC Programmer

Carpeno Interiors is a growing private limited interior design company based in Ahmedabad, specializing in end-to-end turnkey interior solutions and modular furniture manufacturing. Our in-house production focuses on precision, efficiency, and premium finish quality.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to handle CNC programming for modular furniture, panel-based work, and custom interior components. The role involves converting design drawings into accurate machine-ready programs while ensuring optimum material usage and finish quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify CNC programs for woodworking and modular furniture production.
• Work on ArtCAM / Aspire / AlphaCAM / similar CAM software.
• Convert AutoCAD / SketchUp drawings into CNC-ready files.
• Plan nesting layouts to minimize material wastage.
• Set tool paths for cutting, drilling, grooving, pocketing, and engraving.
• Select appropriate tools (bits) and cutting parameters.
• Coordinate with machine operators and factory supervisors.
• Conduct trial runs and troubleshoot programming or machining issues.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish quality.
• Maintain CNC program records and version control.
• Support production timelines and urgent job requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI / certification in CNC Programming, Mechanical, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in CNC programming for wood or MDF boards.
• Proficiency in ArtCAM (2D/3D), nesting software, and CNC controllers.
• Good understanding of woodworking materials (MDF, ply, laminates, acrylic).
• Knowledge of tool selection, feeds, speeds, and machine safety.
• Ability to read technical drawings and BOQs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
