Role & responsibilities:

The Cluster Collections Manager Recovery and Flows is responsible for overseeing collections operations across multiple branches or regions, ensuring effective recovery of overdue accounts, and maintaining healthy flow rates. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

Portfolio Management

• Monitor and manage delinquency levels across assigned clusters.
• Ensure timely recovery of overdue accounts through structured follow-ups.
• Track flow rates and implement corrective measures to reduce forward flows.

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and motivate field collection teams and agency partners.
• Set performance targets and review team productivity regularly.
• Conduct regular field visits to assess ground-level execution.

Recovery Strategy & Execution

• Design and implement recovery strategies for high-risk and chronic delinquent accounts.
• Coordinate legal and repossession actions where necessary.
• Collaborate with skip-tracing teams for locating absconded customers.

Compliance & Risk Control

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational compliance standards.
• Monitor collection practices to avoid reputational or legal risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit readiness.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with branch managers, regional heads, and central recovery teams.
• Provide regular MIS reports and portfolio insights to senior management.
• Support cross-functional initiatives like customer retention or restructuring.

Customer Engagement

• Handle escalated customer cases with empathy and resolution focus.
• Promote ethical recovery practices and maintain customer goodwill.
• Encourage settlements and negotiate repayment plans where feasible.
