Job Title: Cloud System Admin

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled Cloud Systems Administrator with expertise in Azure and Office365 expertise to support, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal

candidate will manage Azure resources, Office 365 services, and related tools to

ensure high availability, security, and performance across the organization. This role

will work closely with IT teams to support cloud-based services and drive continuous

improvement in cloud operations.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Azure Cloud Management:

  • Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, networking,

and other Azure services.

  • Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related

identity management solutions.

  • Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs.


2. Office 365 Administration:

  • Manage and support Office 365 applications, including Exchange

Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

  • Administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365,

ensuring compliance and security.

  • Troubleshoot issues and provide support for Office 365 services across

the organization.


3. Security & Compliance:

  • Implement security best practices, including multi-factor

authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.

  • Monitor for potential security threats and take action to resolve

vulnerabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company security policies.


4. Automation & Optimization:

  • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) for automated cloud

and Office 365 administration tasks.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement

automation to increase efficiency.


5. Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery:

  • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans

for critical cloud services.

  • Regularly test and update recovery strategies to ensure data integrity

and availability.


6. Documentation & Training:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure,

configurations, and procedures.

  • Provide guidance and training to other IT staff on cloud administration

best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related

field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience with Azure cloud services, Office 365 administration, and

related Microsoft tools.

Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for cloud automation.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator,

Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and

collaboratively.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with identity management and access controls within Azure and

Office 365.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to stay updated with the latest cloud

technologies
