Job Description

Cloud Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions for energy data and applications.
  • Build infrastructure for SCADA data storage, energy analytics, and predictive maintenance tools.
  • Collaborate with software developers and engineers to integrate IoT and smart grid systems into cloud environments.
  • Manage servers, APIs, and microservices on platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Optimize cost, performance, and storage efficiency of cloud resources.
  • Implement cloud security measures, disaster recovery, and compliance protocols.
  • Migrate on-premise applications to cloud platforms with minimal downtime.
  • Support data pipelines for AI, ML, and IoT analytics used in energy monitoring systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, databases, and API integration.
  • Experience with serverless computing and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Understanding of data protection, security, and scalability best practices.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience in cloud architecture or DevOps.
  • Prior exposure to renewable energy systems, IoT data handling, or smart grid platforms is highly desirable.
