About the Role:

Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement

  scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures

  tailored to enterprise requirements
• Develop and manage

  cloud adoption strategies

  , including modernization and migration roadmaps
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate

  cloud services and technologies

  to meet business needs
• Implement and enforce

  cloud governance, security, and compliance best practices

• Develop and oversee

  disaster recovery and business continuity plans

• Optimize

  cloud resource usage and cost performance

  across platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including

  development, security, and network engineering

• Lead

  architecture reviews

  and propose technical enhancements
• Mentor

  junior architects and cloud engineers

  to support team growth
• Maintain clear and thorough

  documentation

  for cloud systems, designs, and processes
• Stay current with

  emerging trends and technologies

  in cloud computing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on

  cloud architecture and implementation

• Deep expertise in major cloud platforms:

  Azure (preferred)

  , AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of

  cloud networking

  , including virtual networks (VNets), load balancers, and application gateways
• In-depth knowledge of

  cloud security

  , including RBACs, NSGs, encryption protocols, Private Links, Private Endpoints, Managed Identities, and Service Principals
• Hands-on experience with

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  tools such as

  Terraform

  ,

  ARM templates

  , and

  Helm charts

• Proficiency in

  scripting languages

  such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Strong experience with

  containerization and orchestration technologies

  (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in

  cloud cost optimization

  and performance tuning
• Relevant certifications such as:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

• Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect
