We are hiring a Cloud SecOps Lead (Security Operations) — Remote | Night Shift (US Hours)


About the role

Cloud SecOps Lead

You will be responsible for securing SaaS platforms, managing SIEM/SOAR systems, leading incident response, and ensuring strong security posture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and analyze security events, centralized logs, alerts, and incidents via SIEM platforms.
  • Perform threat hunting, malware investigation, incident response, and digital forensics.
  • Respond to network-based threats, suspicious activity, and intrusion attempts.
  • Utilize SOAR tools to automate detection and response workflows.
  • Secure and monitor cloud workloads on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Implement hardening techniques for cloud architecture and server operating systems.
  • Ensure compliance with frameworks like SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks, and NIST CSF.
  • Design and implement privileged access models.
  • Manage authentication, authorization policies across Entra ID (Azure AD), M365, and enterprise applications.
  • Work with protocols such as DNS, SMTP, LDAP, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
  • Use tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP for application security testing.
  • Perform threat modeling and vulnerability review of applications and APIs.
  • Research emerging threats, malware trends, and exploit patterns.
  • Secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation workflows.
  • Integrate security tools into development and operations pipelines.
  • Lead implementation of security tooling across infrastructure and endpoints.
  • Act as a technical lead for security tool deployment and operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Cloud, and Engineering.
  • Maintain clear documentation, playbooks, and incident response processes.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security / SecOps roles.
  • Hands-on experience securing Azure, AWS, and GCP workloads.
  • Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, IAM, malware analysis, and network security.
  • Experience with endpoint security (Windows, macOS, iOS), BYOD environments.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, CIS, NIST frameworks.
  • 2+ years experience securing CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Certifications like

    CISM, CCSP, CISSP

    are a strong plus (not mandatory).
  • Ability to work independently during

    night shift

    and deliver under strict timelines.
