Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Working Hours: 5:30pm - 2:30am IST (Monday to Friday)

Mode: WORK FROM HOME

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Load Balancing.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring state management and version control.

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to automate infrastructure deployment, testing, and monitoring.

• Deploy and manage VPN servers (e.g., OpenVPN, IPSec, GCP-native VPN) to provide secure remote access for cloud and on-premises environments.

• Implement and manage authentication and access controls, including OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, RBAC, and identity federation integrated with cloud IAM.

• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance issues, proactively identifying improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure.

• Support enterprise-scale application environments with knowledge of application architecture, deployment, and operational models.

Qualification & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Must have stable employment history.

• Deep understanding of Java-based applications and enterprise-scale system deployment models.

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, Load Balancing).

• Expert in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, automation, versioning, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

• Skilled in GitLab for source control, CI/CD automation, and lifecycle management.

• Experienced in authentication and access control (OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, RBAC, identity federation).

• Well-versed in IAM policies, compliance frameworks, and infrastructure security.

• Skilled in VPN server management (OpenVPN, IPSec, GCP-native VPN).

• Strong knowledge of IAM policies, compliance frameworks, and infrastructure security.

• Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to performance and reliability improvements.

• Experienced collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure resilient and compliant infrastructure.
