Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our team in a hybrid role combining responsibilities of both a Cloud Engineer and a DevOps Engineer. This position requires a solid foundation in cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure) as well as hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and system automation. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Engineering: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. Monitor cloud resource usage, performance, and cost optimization. Implement cloud-native services and automation for provisioning and lifecycle management. Support teams in deploying solutions across cloud platforms (GCP preferred, but AWS/Azure acceptable). DevOps Engineering: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Automate configuration management and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm. Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through monitoring and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles and reduce deployment friction. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (GCP preferred). Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar). Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, IAM, and security best practices. Nice to Have: GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or equivalent certification. Exposure to monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Datadog, or New Relic. Experience in managing hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and DevSecOps principles.
