Cloud Engineer

• As a GCP Advisory Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Cloud and DevOps solutions for enterprise environments.
  
• Hands-on experience with Python scripting.
  
• Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform and its DevOps ecosystem.
  
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new capabilities and features.
  
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and operational excellence of GCP-based architectures.
  
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to GCP services, infrastructure, and applications.
  
• Manage DevOps workflows throughout the lifecycle from planning and execution through ongoing operations.
  
• Practical experience in virtualization, containerization, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) in a cloud environment.
  
• Expertise in developing CI/CD automation pipelines using industry-standard tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, or cloud-native CI/CD services.
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum and SAFe.
  
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
  
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or native cloud automation tooling.
  
• Proficiency in container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
  
• Working knowledge of scripting languages including Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
  

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize DevOps and cloud strategies on GCP.
  
• Automate infrastructure, deployment workflows, and operational processes.
  
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery and support.
  
• Monitor, secure, and optimize cloud workloads based on performance and compliance requirements.
  
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives for cloud platforms and DevOps environments.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or an equivalent academic background.
  
• Relevant Google Cloud Platform certification(s) preferred.
