Job Description

Role: AWS Cloud Engineer

Location: Chennai

Hire Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFront.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Manage networking, security groups, IAM roles, and policies to ensure secure architecture.
Monitor performance using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and set up alerting dashboards.
Automate deployment and configuration through CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Perform cost optimization, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams for seamless application integration.
Ensure compliance, scalability, and high availability across environments.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, RDS, Lambda).
Experience with Linux/Windows administration in cloud environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
Understanding of security best practices and cloud cost management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional preferred.
5–8 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps.
