Built to provide personal attention and real-time adaptability, Edza AI enables students to achieve better understanding and improved performance.Role DescriptionThis is a remote internship opportunity for a Cloud & DevOps Intern at Edza AI. The intern will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include managing CI/CD pipelines, working on containerization and orchestration tools, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring secure and scalable cloud operations. The role also involves collaborating with the engineering team to automate key processes and improve system reliability.RequirementsSolid understanding of Cloud Computing fundamentals (Compute, Storage, VPC, Networking).Strong Linux/Unix command-line skills.Knowledge of SQL and database basics.Curiosity and ability to research & troubleshoot cloud/server issues independently.Key ResponsibilitiesProvision & manage cloud servers (AWS EC2, DigitalOcean, GCP VMs).Configure cloud resources including storage, networking, firewalls, IAM permissions.Monitor and optimize cloud costs by comparing performance and resource usage.Implement cloud backups and basic disaster recovery setups.Perform routine cloud maintenance like OS patching, resource scaling, and snapshots.Assist in CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.Work with logs & alerts to understand system behavior.Support zero-downtime deployments under guidance.Build & maintain cloud observability pipelines (metrics, logs, traces) using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, Grafana.
