Cloud Data Architect

Participate in Data Management Assessments utilizing interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.  The Assessment result will provide Data Management Roadmap and Strategy and should include suggestions for additional client opportunities

Ensure architecture deliverables are developed, implement architectures, and support technical developers at a project, business unit and enterprise level, including the oversight of compliance to standards, methodologies and guidelines

Establish overall architecture direction including data movement approach, architecture / technology strategy, and any other data-related considerations to ensure business value

• 8+ years of experience with BI/DW implementations in Data Management, including 4+ years of experience in technical or solution architecture
• 2+ years of experience leading offshore teams
• Practical Architecture experience in at least 2 of the following areas: Data Integration/Data Quality/Cloud Platforms/Master Data Management/Big Data/Data Governance/Data Modeling
• Experience using major data modeling tools (examples: ERwin, ER/Studio, etc)
• Experience with major database platforms
• Solid experience with performance optimization 
• Experience with Big Data best practices
• Big Data Security Products 
• Experience with Cloud Architectures focused on Data Management and usage patterns 
• Experience implementing a form of Streaming Technologies 
• Understanding of Traditional ETL, ELT, Data Warehousing and Data Marts is must

• Robust knowledge of data management industry (DW, BD, Cloud, MDM, DG, DQ, Data Modeling) 
• Ability to research and learn new technologies and processes quickly
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams
• Ability to evaluate an existing architecture and document issues and suggested improvements 
• Ability to Architect solutions based on customer requirements 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation experience, with proven leadership and mentoring abilities
• Ability to work independently on projects as well as collaborate effectively across teams. 
• Excels in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success
