Cloud Azure Architect (Infrastructure)
Location: Kochi, Kerala
Position Type: Full-time Permanent role

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement end-to-end Azure architectures for complex enterprise workloads.
Lead cloud migration, modernization, and greenfield deployments using Azure services.
Define and enforce governance, security, and compliance across Azure environments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration and automation.
Optimize performance, availability, and cost of cloud solutions.
Mentor developers, cloud engineers, and solution teams on Azure best practices.
Engage with stakeholders and executive leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in Azure solution architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with core Azure services: compute, storage, networking, identity, and security.
Proven expertise in designing hybrid and cloud-native architectures.
Deep understanding of Azure networking, security controls, and governance (RBAC, Policies, Key Vault, etc.).
Proficiency in DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub, YAML pipelines.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Microsoft CAF, or Well-Architected Framework.
Experience with multi-region, highly available deployments and DR setups.
Familiarity with Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Logic Apps.
Exposure to containerization platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker.
Working knowledge of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and other analytics services.
Experience in regulated industries like BFSI, Healthcare, or Government is a plus.
Leadership in technical workshops, architecture governance, and solution reviews.
Required Certification:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Must be active)
VGreen Technology Solutions (VGreenTEK)
