Role Overview

The Deals Intake Coordinator will support the broader operations of the Alternative Asset Insurance Solutions (AAIS) group by ensuring the seamless intake, tracking, staffing and management of new deal opportunities. This individual will be responsible for managing the "New Deals" inbox, assigning M&A teams to opportunities within a 2 hour window or less, and ensuring accurate data entry and revenue tracking throughout the deal lifecycle.

In this role, the Deals Intake Coordinator will also work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across Sales Operations, Finance, Overseas Colleagues, and various business units to improve data integrity and enhance revenue forecasting. Additionally, the role will support policy issuance for of transactional policies in coordination with the ACA team, and finally will serve as a liaison to Finance and NAC for coding-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Intake & Assignment

• Manage the "New Deals" inbox, ensuring timely review and assignment of M&A teams to new opportunities.
• Track the end-to-end data entry process to ensure accurate deal and revenue data is captured and maintained based on the activity within the NEW DEALS inbox
• Maintain and update the deal tracker after the deal has closed, reflecting the status of all deals (I.e. “dead”, “on hold”, “signed”) and the associated revenue across each distinct sub-segment.
• Liaise with Head of IVD regarding opportunities for business expansion based on a new deal activity (i.e. flag opportunities for selling more insurance on the same risk)

Data Management & Collaboration

• We will still require data for the specific lines of insurance and the deal coordinator should work closely with the Mumbai operations team to populate detailed deal data across:
  • Transactional insurance
  • Property & Casualty (P&C)
  • Insurance & benefits due diligence
  • Management liability
• Similarly, share renewal lists, deadlines, and data management in collaboration with the Mumbai team to ensure timely processing of renewals, “at risk”, etc.
• Ensure alignment between deal data, revenue tracking, and forecasting by collaborating with Sales Operations and Finance partners.
• Serve as a liaison to Finance and NAC to resolve inquiries related to EPIC coding and revenue attribution.

Transactional Policy Monitoring

• Ensure transactional policies are issued by coordinating with ACAs and other team members responsible for surplus lines filings.
• Track and confirm premium payments to ensure proper reconciliation.

Forecasting & Reporting

• Support the AAIS group by improving the accuracy of forecasting data, ensuring deal insights are reliable and well-documented.
• Assist with financial reporting and revenue recognition processes by maintaining data integrity.
