Job Description

As a Client / Business Development Manager at IKON, you will be responsible for developing a clientele for IKON's marketing consultancy service. You will also be accountable for managing and delivering consulting projects for clients that originated through your efforts. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Meeting prospects to introduce IKON and understand their consulting service needs and expectations - Conducting preliminary research to comprehend the business and market environment of prospects - Developing the scope of consulting work (SOW) aligned with client requirements supported by research and internal capability - Creating high-quality technical and financial proposals in collaboration with the consulting team and presenting them to clients either face to face or virtually - Following up and negotiating contracts with prospects independently to close deals - Planning and executing projects with the consulting team, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met - Generating leads for consulting services and research publications through offline business networking and online channels such as blogs, social media, and digital marketing activities - Designing and implementing online and offline marketing campaigns to drive meetings, increase sales pipelines, and achieve revenue targets - Preparing marketing collaterals and presentations - Facilitating meetings between prospects and principal consultant/CMD as required - Responding to business leads effectively via email and phone - Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities - Developing strategic initiatives to introduce new and innovative approaches in acquiring new clients **Job Qualifications & Requirements:** - Graduation degree, MBA preferred, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst or in business development with a management consulting firm or communication agency - Effective networking skills and ability to influence leaders and top management across different industries and geographies - Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to building a clientele - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong presentation skills with the ability to persuade using sound reasoning and data - Proficient in project management, handling multiple projects under tight deadlines - Proficiency in English and Hindi - Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Willingness to travel within India and other countries as required - Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Target-oriented with the ability to achieve revenue goals within specified timelines - Effective time management skills to meet deadlines - Passion, personal alignment, and commitment to the mission of IKON If you are interested in applying for the position of Client / Business Development Manager, please send your CV to career@ikonmarket.com with the subject line "Application for Client / Business Development Manager".
