Job Description

As a Client / Business Development Manager at IKON, your primary responsibility will be to develop a clientele for IKON's marketing consultancy service. You will also be accountable for managing and delivering consulting projects initiated by clients. Your role will involve meeting potential clients to understand their consulting service needs and expectations, conducting preliminary research on their business and market environment, developing scopes of work aligned with client requirements, preparing high-quality proposals, negotiating contracts, and executing project plans to meet deadlines and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Meet prospects to present IKON and understand their consulting service needs - Conduct preliminary research on prospects" business and market environment - Develop scopes of work (SOW) in line with client requirements - Prepare technical and financial proposals and present them to clients - Follow up and negotiate contracts with prospects independently - Generate leads for consulting services through offline and online networking activities - Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive meetings and increase sales pipelines - Prepare marketing collaterals and presentations - Arrange meetings between prospects and principal consultant/CMD - Respond to business leads effectively via email and phone - Nurture relationships with clients and identify cross-selling opportunities - Introduce new and innovative approaches in acquiring new clients Qualifications & Requirements: - Any graduate, MBA preferred, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or business development in a management consulting firm or communication agency - Ability to network effectively and influence leaders across industries and geographies - Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive client-building interest - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong presentation skills with the ability to convince using data and reasoning - Proficiency in English and Hindi - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Willingness to travel across India and other countries as required - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve revenue targets within specified timeframes - Effective time-management skills to meet deadlines - Passion, personal alignment, and commitment to the mission of IKON If you are interested in applying for this position, please submit your CV to career@ikonmarket.com with the subject "Application for Client / Business Development Manager".
